Midtown was as a visualization of a Miami urban neighborhood where people could live, work and play. Today it is a reality consisting of Midtown Miami condos and its 54-acre development. Midtown extends between NE 30th Street and NE 35th Street on NE 2nd and North Miami Avenues. The Miami Design District is located a few blocks north and is also fast becoming an attractive neighborhood for shopping, dining and living and a well-deserved alternative to South Beach. Both Midtown Miami and the Design District are thriving hubs for rising artists, art galleries, special exhibitions and installations, and each brings an array of cultural, entertainment and fashion events to the area throughout the year. The area has become a lively neighborhood embracing contemporary-design condominiums, street-level stores, cafes, restaurants, furniture stores and art galleries.
